Welcome to Randomly Collected Tech Tips, not Radio Controlled TiTties (I’ll admit I chose RCTT on purpose).

Whenever I find something useful internet and technology wise I either remeber it or bookmark it. But bookmarks can be lost and forgotten and so can memory. Which lead to some thinking I was doing on my train journey. I was thinking up a computer specification for a friend and couldn’t remember which Nehalem i7 was better for SLi and why; the LGA 1366 i7 or the LGA 1154 i7. This bugged me for the whole day until I sat at a computer and checked it out.

Whilst on the train I thought to myself “Wouldn’t it be handy if I wrote this nugget of information somewhere?”. From this idea RCTT was born. On this blog I plan to post nuggets of information which range from the simple (e.g. Ctrl + V = Paste) to the complicated (e.g. BIOS modding).

The purpose of this blog is to collate all the random bits of useful internet and technology tips that I come across but don’t have the capacity to remember. From as simple as ‘Ctrl + V’ to as complicated as modifying a BIOS. If I find it useful I’ll post it here.
